AfricaRice’s research for development and impact contributes strongly to the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through its work, the Center is addressing 12 of the 17 SDGs.

AfricaRice’s main research complex is located at M’bé, Côte d’Ivoire, on a 700-ha site that includes experimental farms covering major rice production systems, laboratories and a world-class genebank.
