AfricaRice and KAFACI - A wining cooperation

AfricaRice and KAFACI winning cooperation has created a new sense of coordination and tight international bonds. Over the past 8 years, the 21 member countries have benefited from capacity building and knowledge about the Korea’s high-yielding Tongil type rice germplasm. Today, they are able to make crosses with African resources to create a Tongil type rice adapted to Africa population thus contributing to achieve rice self-sufficiency on the continent.
