AfricaRice Annual Report 2017 focuses on effective targeting of research to respond to stakeholder n


AfricaRice is pleased to announce the release of its Annual Report 2017, themed ‘More effective targeting of research for development,’ emphasizing the Center’s aim to improve the targeting of its research efforts to respond to the needs of all rice value chain actors in Africa. The flagship publication provides a snapshot of some of the important results of AfricaRice work carried out in close collaboration with partners over the past year. Through the stories on research and innovation activities and resulting achievements, the report highlights the Center’s strategy, impact, opportunities and challenges.  In addition to providing brief information on publications, training, finance, donors and the Board of Trustees, the report covers the following topics:
